Export EHR data to FHIR, and count every record.
Migrate exports your records to standard FHIR R4 files and counts every record from source to export, on your own servers.
- Install
- A desktop app for Windows x64 (signed) or an Apple Silicon Mac (not yet signed), or the CLI.
- Where it runs
- On your own machines. Your records stay there.
- Works with
- Reads Centricity on Postgres or SQL Server. Writes FHIR R4 bulk files, SQL for four databases, or IHE XDS.b documents.
- Account
- A free Pidgeon account. Signing in needs internet.
- Free in the beta
- Migrate is free during the beta.
Not yet: Centricity is the only source today. We build other sources for each engagement.
Migration should be a tool you can rerun, not a one-off project.

Count mismatches
Every record counted and checked
Exports the new system can check
Migrate writes standard FHIR R4 Bulk Data files, which you can check with the HL7 FHIR Reference Validator.
Counts that prove it
Migrate counts the records at the source and in the export. Loading the files happens on the new system.
It stays on your servers
Your records stay on your servers, and de-identification runs there too. Checkpoints let a stopped run pick up where it left off.
What Migrate covers today
Today, Migrate reads from Centricity, on Postgres or SQL Server. It exports six FHIR R4 resource types:
- Patient
- Encounter
- Observation
- Condition
- MedicationRequest
- Procedure
